The other day I red lined the bike in second gear and the FI light illuminated. Now when I tun the ignition on the bike there are no warnings etc, I start to ride down the road and the FI light comes on straight away, it then stays lit. I get home, turn the ignition off, get the seat off etc to try and read the fault codes, ignition back on the light is no longer illuminated.

Earthing the diagnostic wire to the frame doesn't bring up any codes Unless im doing it wrong?
